ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN

Children’s Future International (CFI) works to improve the lives of vulnerable, marginalized and at-risk children in Ek Phnom district, Battambang, Cambodia by providing access to quality education; promoting child rights; ensuring physical safety, health and wellness; inspiring children and young adults to act as positive role models within their communities; fostering self-reliance among families and communities; and sharing joy together.

This year, 2025, it’s our 15th year anniversary, and we will organize a whole day event at our own land on 5th January 2024, starting from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm. There will be volunteering activities in the morning like planting trees and painting our new buildings and games and fun activities after lunch. We will organize lunch for each participant, but they need to pay for that. The purpose of the event is to celebrate our 15th year anniversary as well as to raise funds for our programming, so we need your help to sponsor us to support our community. All event profits go directly to support CFI.

My plans to visit Cambodia for one month were thwarted by a bout of food poisoning that landed me in the hospital. Too sick to move, I spent several days in fear of a giant spider jumping from the ceiling onto my face, and of the nurse succeeding in poking me with previously ope…
