Year started at CFI: 2024

Education and previous experience: Ryan graduated from Edgemont High School in 2024, and will begin his undergraduate studies at Princeton University in 2025, majoring in electrical and computer engineering. Ryan has three years of experience tutoring primary and secondary school students in English and mathematics at Kumon. He also volunteered with Hudson Link for Higher Education in Prison in 2023 to teach formerly incarcerated individuals basic computer skills. Ryan is spending nine months in Cambodia and during this time he hopes to help CFI support the community while exploring Cambodian culture.

What do you like about your job? “The work CFI does is very inspiring and from the moment I arrived, I was told I was welcome in the CFI family. I am excited to learn more about CFI’s projects, meet more of the amazing staff members, and hopefully contribute to CFI’s mission.”

How do you like to have fun? “I enjoy trying new foods and restaurants, exploring outdoors, and hanging out with friends.”
