Originally from Minnesota, I have been working as a Software Engineering professional writing code and leading a team at a luxury travel company in Denver, Colorado. I earned an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Denver, and a Masters in Software Engineering from Regis University. I currently work as a manager in Software Engineering and project lead. When not working, I enjoy traveling, spending time in the mountains, biking, skiing, and helping make the world a better place through volunteering and supporting non-profits.
While working at Adperio, a company founded by David Asseoff (Board President), my wife and I were introduced to Children’s Future International. David’s passion for this organization was infectious, and made me want to get involved. My wife and I spend our honeymoon in Southeast Asia, where we spend a few days visiting the Children’s Future.
You cannot go to the Learning Center in Cambodia and not come out unchanged. It is a great place where kids can be kids. These children have been through a lot, and this opportunity allows them to have a bright futures. Seeing their smiling faces and being involved in Children’s Future gives me hope for their future and the future of Cambodia.
