Project Description

Sabrina

Sabrina

Volunteer

Year started at CFI: 2023

Education and previous experience: Sabrina completed high school in the United States where she participated in Model United Nations, researching global issues and international development while drafting policy plans. Her previous projects have outlined preventative and reactive measures to combat refugee exploitation, terrorism financing, and recidivism. Before working at CFI, she also volunteered at various churches, food pantries, and global health NGOs. In America, Sabrina will study international relations and economics at Princeton University.

What do you like about your job? “I enjoy seeing international development concepts put into practice, bridging the gap between theory and real-world application. At CFI, I’m learning about the shortcomings of theory and the everyday challenges of delivering aid and sparking change, an experience that’s impossible to replicate in a classroom. I also love the delicious food and my incredibly fun and friendly coworkers.”

How do you like to have fun? I love singing, dancing, hiking, and exploring the city both day and night with my friends.
