Education and previous experience: Visal holds a Bachelor of Arts in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from Build Bright University, Cambodia (2016-2019), and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) at Dewey International University, Cambodia, with an expected graduation in 2024. With eight years of experience in teaching English, he has also served as an Education Program Support Coordinator, Primary Program Director, and Leader of a reading club, showcasing his expertise in language education and leadership within educational settings.
What do you like about your job? “As the Assistant Learning Center Manager at CFI, there are several aspects of my job that I find rewarding and enjoyable. One of the things I like most is the opportunity to make a positive impact on the learning journey of our students. Whether it’s through supporting our teaching staff, developing innovative learning programs, or fostering a supportive learning environment, I take pride in knowing that I contribute to our students; growth and success.”
How do you like to have fun? “In terms of how I like to have fun, I find solace and rejuvenation in nature. Spending time outdoors, whether playing football with friends or simply taking a leisurely stroll in a park, helps me recharge and clear my mind. Additionally, I enjoy immersing myself in the beauty of nature, whether it’s admiring the vibrant colors of flowers or listening to the soothing sounds of birds chirping. It’s a refreshing way for me to unwind and find balance amidst the demands of my job.”
