Congratulations to all CFI students on their Graduation Day!
Graduation Day is one of the most important days at CFI. We celebrate the achievement of our students’ hard work every day of the past year of their study with CFI supplementary classes.
Just a reminder that CFI supplementary classes are Khmer, Math, English, and Computer and we supplement students who study under grade 10 at public schools. These classes support students learning and build on their lessons at public school and ensure they achieve their best results.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we changed our delivery model to online studies via social media platforms such as Facebook Messenger, Telegram, Zoom calls, and Google Meet. As you know, many students live in remote areas and they find technology challenging, so it’s hard for them to communicate with their teacher during this time. Some families don’t even have a phone for contact.
But thanks to you and your partnership with the team at CFI we have been able to put in every possible support to keep our students learning from home. This includes loaning tablets and devices and supporting families with phone credit so they can access the internet. We also call and check in every week with students to ensure they have what they need.
Even though there are some challenges, the students are still doing their best to study and achieved great success by completing last year’s classes with a perfect result.
Please join us in celebrating the hard work of all our students.
Thank you to everyone who was involved in this ceremony, in particular to BASAID and the Gönnerverein who fund our education programs.
