Children’s Future is pleased to announce its new Executive Director, Austin Klemmer. Austin has been working with Children’s Future since January 2015, starting as a Communications Intern and moving on to become the Communications Director. He has been integral element in the growth and success of Children’s Future.

The New York native has extensive personal experience in Southeast Asia.  Working first as a teacher in Hanoi, Austin then went on to serve at the US Embassy in Vietnam, drafting briefing papers and speeches for the Ambassador. He recently received his Master’s in International Relations and Intercultural Communications at the University of Denver.

Austin first visited the Learning Center in Battambang in December of 2015. Austin says of his time at the center: “I couldn’t truly understand the beauty of the work we do until I saw it first hand. To hear the stories from people who lived them, and to see everyone on the staff working tirelessly to support our students was truly humbling. I feel incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to work more closely with everyone at Children’s Future in the years to come.”
